Forgotten With Time

When we lose the ones we love, we hold onto their memory. We mark their name in stone to identify their final resting place; to never forget the life they lived. But time is always an enemy we face, even after "death do us part".

Although most cemeteries take very good care of the graves in their possession, some don't bother. Thus, as time passes, the names of those who have passed are forgotten. For me, this brings up a hurricane of emotions; anger, sorrow, guilt, etc. I wished to capture these realities, not only to display the emotions they trigger, but to validate the existence of these people. They're names may have been lost, but I will remember them for all time.
